Recent Project: Industrial Appliance Pallet
HVAC and industrial appliances are usually big, heavy, bulky, and oddly shaped, and that makes getting your product where it needs to go challenging. The standard 48 x 40 pallet just won’t cut it, and that’s why it’s so important to work with experienced packaging designers.
In the image to the right, you can see a custom pallet we designed and produced for one of our customers. Although the picture isn’t great, you can probably tell that we’ve used southern yellow pine (SYP), rather than hardwood for this heavy industrial appliance.
Using SYP keeps costs down, but the design still keeps it strong.
Recent Project: Mounted Coolers
Here’s an example of a situation when a custom pallet or skid is necessary. Although it may be difficult to get an idea of the scale of these coolers from the picture, they are very large and very heavy. There’s another picture of this product above.
In this case, we designed a custom 8′ x 10′ hardwood skid so that each of these coolers could be mounted to it for transport.
